The Challenge

Disadvantaged children in England are approximately 1.5 years behind their non-disadvantaged peers in terms of their academic attainment by the time they leave secondary school.

The disadvantage attainment gap has intensified due to Covid-19, which has also amplified the digital divide young people from low-income families face in accessing online schooling.

This is why we are providing 200% subsidised Maths, English & Science tuition sessions through our delivery partners Croydon Supplementary Education Programme and AA Educates to eligible students.

The Problem

  • 2.3 million pupils in the UK did little or no school work during lockdown.

  • 97% of private school pupils had access to home computer whereas 1 in 5 pupils on free school meals had no access to a home computer.

  • There is a 46% bigger learning gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers as of July 2020 than it was a year earlier.

Solution: We are providing tuition classes in Maths, English and Science

As part of our Foundation’s commitment, we are supporting disadvantaged student’s to catch up with lost learning due to COVID-19. Please click below to register your interest for a student to receive 100% subsidised tuition

Access to the internet should not be a luxury, but a necessity to support education. In the initial stages of the programme, we provided young people with internet access to support home learning.
